Atomic Ink is a Windows desktop livery editor that lets you create skins using your locally installed Assetto Corsa cars. Load a car, choose a source skin, and build your design with a live, textured 3D preview.
Add decals, colours, text and racing numbers. Position artwork directly on supported 3D surfaces or work in the 2D texture workspace, then export your creation as a new skin.

Getting started
1. Extract the entire ZIP into its own folder.
2. Launch AtomicInk.exe, keeping the included files beside it.
3. Select an installed car and source skin.
4. Choose a supported paint surface and start creating.
5. Export your design. The loaded car’s skins folder is selected by default.
Exports create a new skin folder without overwriting existing skins. Your original car files stay intact.
Compatibility
Atomic Ink requires Windows x64, Assetto Corsa and a locally installed supported car. Car models and skins are not included.
This is the 0.1.0 public beta. Compatibility depends on each car’s model, textures, materials and shaders. Encrypted or unsupported models cannot be imported. The studio preview approximates the car’s appearance; CSP effects, reflections and paint finishes may differ in Content Manager or Assetto Corsa. Check your finished skin in the showroom or game.
No Atomic Ink account or cloud upload is required. Editing and export happen locally.

This update expands surface editing and improves texture previews and skin exports.
New features
* Window and glass decals: Add artwork to supported glass surfaces. Unpainted areas retain their original transparency.
* Light and lens decals: Customise compatible light and lens surfaces, with the required textures and configuration included in the exported skin.
* Interior colours: Adjust supported trim and upholstery colours while retaining their texture patterns. Includes tint strength and reset controls.
Improvements
* Improved material previews, including supported tiled detail textures and interior materials.
* Higher-resolution artwork editing for eligible tiny, solid-colour source textures.
* Improved CSP dependency detection when opening cars from external folders.
* Automatic export routing to the installed car’s skins folder when a matching installation can be verified.
* Rewritten documentation and consistent 0.2.0 version information throughout the app and Windows executable details.

Surface availability depends on the car’s model, textures and materials. Some glass, lens and interior features require CSP. Content Manager’s standard Custom Showroom may not display those changes; check the exported skin in Assetto Corsa with CSP enabled.
